Premier Mounts had a whirlwind year. As 2018 comes to an end, it is important to reflect back on the successes of our team and the broader industry our company is a part of. Through collaborative innovation, dedicated employees, and strong partnerships we have made strides to best encompass our mission of putting people first. Let’s reflect on some of the work our team has accomplished this past year.
NEW PRODUCTS LAUNCHED
Samsung Flip Mounting Solutions and The Convergent Series break ground for customers, integrators, partners, and distributors.
In May of 2018, the Samsung™ FLIP was introduced to the market and Premier Mounts created three distinct solutions for the product. These solutions which were debuted at InfoComm 2018, included a fixed floor stand, a mobile stand, and a rotating wall mount. Each unique mount is designed to enhance interactive digital content with rotating views that change the display from landscape to portrait orientation, as well as lightweight stands that can be deployed into different conference room arrangements.
To follow in October of 2018, Premier Mounts launched the Convergent series revolutionizing LED mounting solutions. With an ingenious modular design, Convergent has the ability to transform into an unlimited number of configurations creating a perfectly seamless alignment every time. Groundbreaking in the industry, Convergent also doubles as an on-the-shelf product that can be tailored to any custom project. The Convergent series provides “in-stock” solution for LED mounting that reduces installation time and shipping costs. The Convergent series cements itself as the foundation for every large-scale LED video wall project, by using multiple points of adjustability to eliminate seams. By drastically cutting down production time and reducing costs, Convergent underscores the importance of customization, installations, and adjustability.

2018 TRADE SHOWS HIGHLIGHTS

One of the most exciting aspects of the AV industry is attending trade shows to share with other professionals and learn about the latest innovations in AV solutions. Not only are trade shows a great place for learning and product focus, but also doubles as a space of recognition for outstanding projects and people through various awards presentations. Our favorites include:
At DSE 2018, Premier Mounts shared LED solutions with top display manufacturers such as Samsung, Planar, Christie, Absen, Unilumin, and Lighthouse. Our team had the opportunity to discuss direct-view LED displays used in digital signage and the importance of mounting them efficiently. As an official 2018 DSE Central Park Sponsor, our team had the honor of being involved in the DSE New Product Showcase. Premier Mounts’ Marketing Director Curtis Rose also held a session entitled “Capturing Attention in the New World of Digital Signage,” where he explored the cultural shift towards technology and explained how to garner attention in the new global digital landscape.
Premier Mounts attended the 2018 NAB Show where our team presented mounting innovations for LCD video walls and seamless LED tiles. At this show, our team focused on sharing information about the new age of broadcasting and the presence of direct-view LED displays.
Another key industry tradeshow that Premier Mounts attended was InfoComm 2018. We began Day 1 in full swing with recognition as the 2018 rAVe Awards, Favorite Manufacturer for Social Media Presence. With a jam-packed day of sights and sounds, our team hosted a Premier Mounts Top Golf Event. Here, our partners joined us for an evening of dinner, drinks, and golf. Our team was able to plan and execute an event that celebrated one of our most important core values: people.
Premier Mounts offered an engaging opportunity during the 2018 CEDIA Expo held at the San Diego Convention Center. Our team invited qualified installers to visit our booth to receive information about training classes being offered at Premier Mounts corporate office in Corona, CA. This event allowed Premier Mounts to share our expertise with installers who were looking to gain access to new opportunities in the audiovisual industry as well as installation jobs for LED video walls. Attendees were able to learn about how Premier Mounts is setting standards for products, techniques, and mounting procedures. Our goal continues to focus on educating installers for the betterment of the industry as a whole.
BETTER EDUCATING THE INDUSTRY
Two-day installation training classes strengthen industry standards
Premier Mounts began offering free two-day training courses for partners to gain additional knowledge necessary to improve installation skills and better equip them for high scale commercial AV jobs. Through this course, individuals have the opportunity to become a Premier Mounts certified installer and allow job recommendations to be made based on each installer’s local regions. Qualified installers are invited to our corporate office and manufacturing facility to receive training on proper methods for a myriad of mounting solutions including those used for LCD and LED video walls. These classes are two full days and include lodging and meals. Although travel to Corona, CA is not included, these bi-weekly classes have had major turn out. Not only are installers being properly trained certified partners, but they also have the opportunity to capitalize in the direct-view LED video wall market which is expected to see major growth in upcoming years.

Overall, the addition of these training courses has added a hands-on experience that is designed to educate installers and enhance skills.
Premier Mounts introduces new distributor partners added to their already solid network
As of November of 2018, Synnex, Bluestar, and JB&A joined the Premier Mounts network as new distributors. Each company now provides a unique asset to the existing distribution process. The addition of new partnerships to our current channel of distributors allowed Premier Mounts to focus on customer centricity and provide the best mounting solutions for the AV industry. Premier Mounts existing partners include Anixter, Ingram Micro, AB Distributing, Stampede Global, Almo Pro AV, and Data Visual. Current partnerships all provide a solid ground for distribution and with the introduction of three new partners, both internal and external growth will continue to develop throughout the new year.
Strengthening Our Team & Our Mission
During 2018, Premier Mounts held focus on building up our employees and continuous innovation. Key efforts included team building events and emphasizing the role of work with all product development. Employee satisfaction is of high importance to Premier Mounts because it forms the foundation for all other areas of growth to expand. In May of this year, Premier Mounts deemed 48 West as the public relations agency of record. This partnership focused on increasing Premier Mounts presence in the press and curating a unique and forward-thinking way of marketing.
Another team expansion happened in October of 2018 when our team hired seasoned professional Steve Pedroza to manage the Premier Dedicated Solutions Division. The addition of Pedroza has already impacted our team in a positive way. As a leader, Pedroza is focused on enhancing growth and innovation within the company and is constantly striving to serve our customers. Internally, our team set forth standards of worth ethic, dedication, and industry-leading service that pushed us to accomplish our 2018 goals and work towards establishing new goals for the coming year.

With this year’s achievements and growth behind us, Premier Mounts is setting new standards for what’s to come in 2019. Our team has made efforts to plan an aggressive 2019-2020 road map that continues to up our goals both on an internal and industry-wide level.
