As we proudly mark our 30th Anniversary, it seems fitting to reflect on a history of remarkable growth that has made Premier Mounts what it is today – one of the industry’s leading providers of quality mounts.
Premier Mounts’ parent company, Progressive Marketing Products Inc., opened its doors in 1977. Originally started as an audio-visual supply re/distributor, Progressive Marketing offered a diverse mix of products that provided President Len Dozier with an intricate and balanced knowledge of the entire industry. He also created a broad contact network of industry insiders that he maintains to this day.
In 1980, Len noticed a significant lack of durable, high-quality mounts and carts for projectors. By 1981, he began manufacturing projector ceiling and wall mounts as well as projector carts. These would eventually fall under the brand name of Premier Mounts.
Originally focused on LCD and CRT projectors, Premier Mounts was already well established in the industry when the plasma display market began to develop. Because mounting plasma displays was simply an extension of its engineering expertise, Premier Mounts developed one of the first after-market plasma mounts in the world. When LCD flat-panel monitors first appeared, again, Premier Mounts was there — measuring and fitting — its engineering gears constantly turning.
As the next new display technology begins to develop, Premier Mounts will certainly be developing the best mounts and adapters to complement it.

For 30 years, Premier Mounts has been manufacturing and marketing superior mounts.
Today, the Premier Mounts brand stands for quality and durability. With almost 1,000 products, the company has over 3,500 reps and dealers worldwide.
Premier Mounts' full line of mounts, adapters and accessories works with display equipment from all of the major display manufacturers. Premier Mounts works closely with OEMs to develop new products. Often the design process begins as these manufacturers develop new displays, so the mounts are often available as soon as the OEMs' new display models are on the market. Because Premier Mounts stocks large quantities of mounts and adapters in its warehouses, its customers can get the mounts they need, when they need them — not four to six weeks later.
Premier Mounts continues to be the industry leader in mounting solutions for projectors, plasma displays and LCD flat-panel monitors. One reason is a renowned customer service department, the industry benchmark for prompt and courteous service. Premier Mounts has gained more loyal customers and introduced more new mounts and adapters than any of its competitors. Unmatched quality and an exclusive lifetime warranty (one of the best in the industry) are two more reasons behind Premier Mounts' success.
Backed by a powerful e-commerce website and numerous full-color catalogs, Premier Mounts has developed the tools to promote and sell a full line of mounting solutions. With many retail customers and a high volume of regular dealer and distributor sales, Premier Mounts is on track to stay the industry standard for the next 25 years and beyond. From plasma and flat-panel displays, to projectors and monitors — Premier Mounts has mounting systems for them all.
A Global Reach
Established in 1999, Premier Mounts' sister corporation, Progressive Marketing Products Ltd., is located in Coventry, England and serves the needs of all European customers. In October 2003, an operations manager in Japan was added to facilitate communications between Premier Mounts' headquarters in Anaheim, California and the Far East, again expanding the company's global service.
A Commitment to ISO Compliance
For more than 30 years, Premier Mounts has shared its manufacturing and powder-coat finishing functions with local co-material suppliers. This close partnership means that the majority of the company's contracted suppliers are ISO 9001/9002 compliant. All Premier Mounts products are assembled and packaged in its facilities under rigorous quality-control procedures.
